TellUs is a company which operates within the e-marketing business. We specialize in online lead generation websites across more than 60 countries worldwide. These websites aim at bringing together consumers and companies. From our offices in Sydney, Rotterdam, Los Angeles and Berlin we work with an international team of 150 highly ambitious staff members to maintain, improve and expand our current services.
During a period of economic downturn we were able to grow our business. The working environment at TellUs is dynamic with business continuing 24/7. Example of your day
In the morning you arrive at the top floor of the historic factory building of the ‘Van Nelle Company’ in Rotterdam. After grabbing a cup of cappuccino you start up your computer and have a look at the sales results from our customers which you have acquired and maintained within the last months.
The first thing you decide to do is to call your biggest partner in Kuala Lumpur. Together you look for opportunities to up sell our advertising product on his website. This conversation results into an extra selling point on customer’s website. Afterwards it’s time for some research on the internet to find new potential customers. The questions you would ask yourself during the research include: Which websites could be interesting for TellUs to affiliate our unique advertising program? Where is potential for new business?
After having lunch with your collegues you have a meeting with one of the biggest affiliate networks from France. This time you welcome them at our office in Rotterdam to review current campaigns and to discuss improvements.
The affiliate team is a brand new team. Within one year the team has proven its position within the company. Because of the enormous size of potential of the market we want to expand the team and therefore we are currently looking for new team members to boost our growth.
With the uniqueness of our advertising program, it is very important to be able to explain our program to new prospects. The majority of the time a personal talk is the best way to approach a prospect. As TellUs is an international company, we are constantly searching for new affiliate networks. Visiting affiliate fairs and summits, national and international are required.
Experience in affiliate marketing is a plus, but there is always room for sales tigers who want to spread their wings. If you are an assertive person with a find & catch sense, then ‘sky is the limit’ for you at TellUs!
Job description
- You are responsible for attracting new business, using specific knowledge of the market;
- Up selling, cross selling on existing partners/customers;
- Communication with (potential) customers by phone and email;
- Strong focus on increasing and creating sales opportunities;
- Maintain current accounts;
- Write commercial texts, presentations and postings;
- Communicate with affiliate networks;
- Add constructive input into improving the sales process;
What do we ask?
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

- Fluent in English
- Experience in tele-sales

- Minimum 2 years experience within a sales position
